The next meeting of the Cape Coral Friends of Wildlife will be May 8, at 7 p.m., at Rotary Park, 5505 Rose Garden Road. Meet Trouper, the blind raccoon, his rescuer and caretaker Dot Lee, and author Kyle Miller who wrote a book "TROUPER - The True Adventures of a Blind Raccoon." Trouper is a survivor of animal cruelty. Together they make public appearances to teach everyone how to respect and protect wildlife.
