Anthony Ziemniarski, 68, a Cape Coral resident for the last two years, formerly of Brookfield, Ill., died Wednesday, April 11, 2012, in Cape Coral. He was born Jan. 15, 1944, in Walthrop, Germany, to Chester Ziemniarski, now deceased, and Maria Kowalski, who survives and resides in Chicago.
He was of the Catholic faith and was a U.S. Army Vietnam War veteran.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Kathy Ziemniarski of Cape Coral; three children, Denise (Gary) Boy of Jackson, Tenn., Thomas Ziemniarski of Murray, Ky., and Kimberly Shuey, also of Cape Coral; a brother, Casey Ziemniarski of Chicago; seven grandchildren, Joshua Boyd, Emily Reynolds, Rachel Boyd, Abigail Boyd, Wesley Boyd, Anthony Shuey and Sara Shuey; as well as three great-grandchildren, Cameron Boyd, Aiden Mason and Kara Boyd.
No formal services are planned at this time.
