LAKELAND - The Florida Tarpons (5-0) professional football team remain undefeated after beating the Lakeland Raiders (4-2) in Lakeland 59 -51.
Tarpons WR and leading UIFL scorer Donald Fusilier caught 3 TD passes, WR Carlos Singleton added 2 TD catches, while WR Chuck Walker caught a TD, and running back Steve Gorrie added 2 rushing TD's.
Kicker Ross Gornall added 11 points (1 Field Goal, and 8 for 8 on extra points). Gornall also added one onside kick recovery.
The Florida Tarpons have a bye week, and then return to Germain Arena on Saturday, April 28, to take on the Mississippi Hound Dogs.
