Karl Godfrey Klatka, 35, a Cape Coral resident for 30 years, died Saturday, March 10, 2012. He was born Oct. 13, 1976 in Chardon, Ohio, and was of the Christian faith.
He is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Lesa Ann Klatka of Cape Coral; five children, Kera, Kylee, Kalyn, Kage and Korbin Klatka, all of Cape Coral; his parents, Janet (Richard) Barnes of Diamond, Ohio, and Gary (Judy) Klatka of Clermont, Fla.; two sisters, Amy Raines of South Carolina and Annie (Bill) Zip of Ohio; two brothers, S.R. (Donna) Klatka, also of Ohio, and Jesse Klatka of Florida; as well as a step-sister, Shawna Chamberlain of Florida.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m., Thursday, March 15, at the First Assembly of God West, 133 Northeast Pine Island Road, Cape Coral, with Pastor Corey Baker officiating. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m., until the hour of service at the church.
