Frances M. Caronna, 69, of Lehigh Acres went to heaven Jan. 22, 2012.
She was born to Margaret and Dominick Caronna, now deceased, in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to Cape Coral in 1975. She enjoyed shopping , the warm weather and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her longtime partner, David Q. Sloop; as well as her sisters, Rita Corti, Genevieve DiFrisco and Eleanor Saladino; niece, Josephine Hinks; and nephew, Rory Johnston.

She is survived by her sister, Lena DiGirolamo of East Islip, N.Y., and nieces, Michelle (Chris) Friend of Cape Coral, Joanne (Warren) Howell of Cape Coral, Marion (Paul) Lehman of Bellport, N.Y., Margaret Johnston of East Islip, N.Y.; and nephews, Tom (Shelley) Johnston of Canandaigua, N.Y., George Saladino of Cape Coral and Dominick Saladino of Cape Coral; as well as many great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to Hope Hospice.
A Christian memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 10, at Coral Ridge Funeral home and Cemetery.
