Contemporary worship gatherings are Saturday at 5 p.m., and Sunday Tradition service at 8:30, and contemporary 9:45 and 11:15 a.m.
During worship gatherings, Bugz Landing is a safe and caring place for infants through Pre-K5 and Kidz Street is open for K-Grade 5 (8:30 a.m. service only provides childcare for 0-2 years old). Energy is a class for middle school students during worship gatherings each weekend.

Beginning Jan. 4, join friends at 7 p.m. the first Wednesday of each month, in the Cape Alliance family room, to discuss classic and contemporary Christian books. The first book discussed will be Fearfully and Wonderfully Made by Dr. Paul Brand and Phillip Yancey.
Monday evenings at 7 beginning Jan. 9, Women in the Word will continue the study of 1st and 2nd Corinthians.
Each Tuesday morning at 10, Older Adults Knowing the Savior (OAKS) study various Bible books and topics.

Cape Coral First United Methodist Church
Cape Coral First United Methodist Church's new sermon series is The Journey: Walking the Road to Bethlehem. Using historical information, archaeological findings and personal reflections, Adam Hamilton will guide the congregation from Nazareth to Bethlehem in this fascinating look at the birth of Jesus Christ. We follow the footsteps of Mary, Joseph, the shepherds and others, gaining insight into our own journeys with Christ.
The Winter Wonderland Dance for students will be hosted by The Intersection youth ministry on Saturday, Dec. 17, from 6-9 p.m. Come enjoy great music, dancing, and refreshments. Candlelight at Cuppa Life
The Cuppa Life coffee shop at the Del Prado Mall, home of A Life In Christ, is hosting a public community Christmas Eve worship experience that will include music, prayer, the Christmas story, candlelight celebration and Holy Communion. Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Cape Coral
Sunday morning worship service starts at 10:20 a.m. to noon. The church offers adult and youth Sunday school classes, ages 2 through 8th grade, starting at 9:10 a.m. During the worship service and Sunday school hour, director Stacey Lakes provides a loving place for infants to Pre-K.

Providence Christian School strives for academic excellence within the context of a program that addresses the whole child-mind body and spirit. For its missions outreach project this school year, Providence Christian School has partnered with the Gitega Future Hope School in Burundi, Africa. PCS Children are bringing in change to help purchase playground equipment for the school in Africa. A PCS parent, working with Builders Without Borders in Burundi, took a "love-gift" of 100 backpacks, signed by the PCS students, to the children last week.

Saturday, Dec. 24, at 5 p.m. - The Present is the Future The Youth of Faith present its annual re-telling of the Christmas story in the way that only youth can. Bring your family to this fun service from Faith's children and youth program.
Saturday, Dec. 24, at 8 and 10 p.m. - Christmas Eve Candlelight Services. The story of Jesus' birth will be presented through Scripture readings and carols. Pastor Timothy Halverson will preach at both services; the 10 p.m. service will include the Lord's Supper.
Sunday, Dec. 25, at 10 a.m. - Join with the congregation as it celebrates Christmas Day with the Chrismon Tree and Carols remembering the story of the birth of Christ. Chrismons are ornaments symbolizing the traditional and ancient symbols of the Christian faith. All are invited to join in this holiday tradition.

A Life In Christ invites all knitting or crocheting prayer warriors in Cape Coral to join our Healing Prayer Afghan Ministry Fridays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. HPA knits and crochets 6-inch x 6-inch or 8-inch x 8-inch afghan squares that are pieced together into afghans that are given away freely to the ill or grieving. Only 100 percent Acrylic 4-ply medium worsted weight yarn (washable, fade resistant, mothproof) is used. Volunteers pray for the healing, comfort, financial peace and salvation of each afghan recipient.
Anyone with even beginning knitting / crocheting skills may participate. There is no cost to join, and supplies are available for volunteers to use on site. HPA meets each Friday at Cuppa Life, a coffee and sandwich shop at Del Prado Mall, in the same plaza as TJ Maxx.

Messiah Lutheran Church
Messiah Lutheran Church will continue its annual drive-through living nativity today, Sat. 17, from 7-9 p.m. There will be a free will offering.
Messiah Lutheran Church will present Lessons and Carols Concert Sunday, Dec 18, at 3 p.m. The tradition of nine lessons and carols at Christmas dates back to the 19th century England. Nine short scripture readings tell the story of the fall of humanity, the promise of the Messiah and the birth of Jesus, intersersed with beloved carols, hymns and special music.

Trinity Lutheran Youth Group to deliver Meals of Love
The Youth Group of Trinity Lutheran Church will be delivering 25 meals (Meals of Love) to families in our community who are still struggling during this economy. The meals are being purchased at Publix and funded by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans Lee County Chapter. This event will take place on Tuesday, December 20th from 4-6 p.m.
