Cape Christian Fellowship

This weekend Pastor Chris Euler continues the series "Restored" with the message: "How to Love When Your Hurt." Contemporary worship gatherings are Saturday at 5 p.m. and Sunday Tradition service at 8:30, and contemporary 9:45 and 11:15 a.m.

During worship gatherings, Bugz Landing is a safe and caring place for infants through Pre-K5 and Kidz Street is open for K-Grade 5 (8:30 a.m. service only provides childcare for 0-2 years old). Energy is a class for middle school students during worship gatherings each weekend.

Middle school students are invited to Energy every Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. High school students are invited to Awakening every Wednesday from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Cape Christian Preschool offers educational programs for children ages 2-5. It is a VPK provider, and accepts school-ready students. For more information or to schedule a tour, call 772-5781.

Cape Coral First United Methodist Church

Cape Coral First United Methodist Church's new sermon series is "Biblical Wisdom for Challenging Economic Times." How did we get where we are with our economy? What are the real spiritual reasons underneath our problems? What can we do about them?

Our life's mission surely isn't about how much stuff we have - we need to recover why we were created and what should really be our priorities. How can we overcome the continuing fear of a new normal that isn't what it used to be economically how can we live with a reset life?

Join the congregation Sunday for the start of this new series.

Foundations Early Learning Center provides childcare, preschool and afterschool care for children from infants up to 8 years old in a new facility as part of the growing family and youth programs at Cape Coral First United Methodist Church.

Evangelical Presbyterian Church

This Sunday, Pastor Brent Lauder will continue preaching through the Psalms. Sunday morning worship service runs from 10:20 to noon. The church offers adult and youth Sunday school classes, ages 2 through 8th grade starting at 9:10 a.m. During our worship service and Sunday school hour, director Stacey Lakes provides a loving place for infants to Pre-K. Sunday evenings at 6, the church has adult prayer time while the children's program and youth group meet.

Women of the Word, a product of EPC's women's ministry, meets on Tuesday mornings at 9, and offers a night class as well at 7.

The group is currently studying the book of Nehemiah and finishing Nov. 15.

The winter session is a 12-week series on 2 Corinthians, which begins in January 2012.

Providence Christian School strives for academic excellence within the context of a program that addresses the whole child-mind body and spirit. PCS will be having "Grandparents' Day" Friday, Nov. 18, for all students and their grandparents at 8:30 a.m. Children are encouraged to invite their grandparents to come and enjoy this special day. If a grandparent is not available, the students can invite a "stand-in" for the day.

First Baptist Church

First Baptist Church of Cape Coral is offering several community outreach meetings each week.

Healing Prayer Afghan Ministry

A Life In Christ invites all knitting or crocheting prayer warriors in Cape Coral to join our Healing Prayer Afghan Ministry Fridays from 11-1 p.m. HPA knits and crochets 6-inch x 6-inch or 8-inch x 8-inch afghan squares that are pieced together into afghans that are given away freely to the ill or grieving. Only 100 percent Acrylic 4-ply medium worsted weight yarn (washable, fade resistant, mothproof) is used. Volunteers pray for the healing, comfort, financial peace and salvation of each afghan recipient.

Anyone with even beginning knitting / crocheting skills may participate. There is no cost to join, and supplies are available for volunteers to use on site. HPA meets each Friday at Cuppa Life, a coffee and sandwich shop at Del Prado Mall, in the same plaza as TJ Maxx.

Saint Andrew Catholic Church

Saint Andrew Catholic Church is holding its annual Ministry Fair today, Nov. 5, and Sunday, Nov. 6, after all masses at the church grounds. There will be free food and fun for all that attend.

This is an opportunity for all the people interested in finding a way to serve their church to find a ministry within the parish community.

Saint Andrew Catholic Church is the largest parish in the Diocese of Venice diocese with over 50 ministries.

The Diocese of Venice includes the counties of Manatee, Sarasota, Charlotte, Lee, DeSoto, Hardee, Highlands, Collier, Hendry and Glades. It is a 9,035-square-mile area of southwest Florida full with people of different cultures, as well as various backgrounds and places of origin, that contribute to the enrichment of the local Catholic experience.

The Ministry Fair is not only an opportunity where people will find a way to share their talents and skills, but also a chance for everyone to enrich their lives and the lives of others, especially in these times of so much need.

St. Andrew CCW Frolic

The "Missionary of the Month" is Dr. Cornelius Hegeman, academic dean at Miami International Seminary. He supervises distance education for pastors around the world.

He travels extensively throughout Latin America, teaching classes to pastors of churches who lack a desirable level of education. Regular seminary-level courses are offered in all areas, and degrees are awarded as the students advance to higher levels of learning. The pastors then teach other courses so that the program is growing exponentially.

Trinity Reformed Church is a member of the United Reformed Churches of North America, a federation of churches located throughout the United States and Canada. It is a part of the wider reformed and Presbyterian family of churches.

Temple Judeau to continue installation celebratory events

Temple Judea will install its new spiritual leader, Rabbi Elyssa Joy Auster, and its Board of Trustees during a series of celebratory events, which began Thursday and continue through today, Nov. 5.

Morning services will be held today at 9:30 a.m. and will be followed by a special Kiddush luncheon.

After the services, Rabbi Judson will also present a family education program entitled, "Why We Do What We Do: An Exploration of the Meaning of Jewish Rituals".
