This weekend Pastor Wes Furlong begins a new six-part series "Lessons From A Great Comeback" with the message "A Nobody, Nobody Noticed." Contemporary worship gatherings are Saturday at 5 p.m. and Sunday at 8:30, 9:45 and 11:15 a.m.
During worship gatherings, Bugz Landing is a safe and caring place for infants through Pre-K5 and Kidz Street is open for K-Grade 5 (8:30 a.m. service only provides childcare for 0-2 years old). Energy is a class for middle school students during worship gatherings each weekend.
Middle school students are invited to "Energy," every Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. High school students are invited to "Awakening," every Wednesday from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

The Rev. Dr. H. Timothy Halverson, Pastor of Faith Presbyterian Church, will preach a 5-part sermon series on the Book of James beginning July 3.
Half-brother to Jesus, James wrote his letter to first-century Jewish Christians who had been scattered throughout the Mediterranean world because of persecution. James offers practical advice on living a Christian life, reminding Christians that genuine faith transforms lives and will inevitably produce good deeds.

A Life In Christ invites all knitting or crocheting prayer warriors in Cape Coral to join our Healing Prayer Afghan Ministry Fridays from 11-1 p.m. HPA knits and crochets 6"x6" or 8"x8" afghan squares that are pieced together into afghans that are given away freely to the ill or grieving. Only 100% Acrylic 4-ply medium worsted weight yarn (washable, fade resistant, mothproof). Volunteers pray for the healing, comfort, financial peace and salvation of each afghan recipient.
Anyone with even beginning knitting/crocheting skills may participate. There is no cost to join, and supplies are available for volunteers to use on site. HPA meets each Friday at Cuppa Life, a coffee and sandwich shop at Del Prado Mall, in the same plaza as TJ Maxx.

Church & School
Free Vacation Bible School will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church and School Monday, June 20, through Friday, June 24 from 9 a.m. to noon. Monday, June 20, activities begin at 8:30 a.m. (Earlier start time allows for 1st day registration process). Children grades K through 8th are invited to attend this event.
This year's theme is Hometown Nazareth: Where Jesus Was a Kid. Families step back in time at Hometown Nazareth, exploring what it was like to live in the town where Jesus grew up. Kids and adults participate in a memorable Bible-times marketplace, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, dig into Bible-times snacks, visit Jesus' mom, Mary, and collect Bible Memory Makers to remind them of God's Word. Plus, everyone learns to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Each day concludes at Celebration-a time of upbeat worship that gets everyone involved.

- June 21 through July 1, we are hosting a second youth group from the Reformed Presbyterian Churches in Indiana who are volunteering at the Educational Concerns for Hunger Organization (ECHO) demonstration farm in North Fort Myers. ECHO is dedicated to fighting world hunger through innovate ideas, information, agricultural training and seeds. ECHO is a non-profit, inter-denominational Christian organization that allows ECHO to provide resources for missionaries and agricultural workers in over 190 countries.
