Bert's Pine Bay Gallery in Matlacha will host a book party for novelist Robert N. Macomber at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, June 17.
Macomber is an internationally recognized award-winning maritime author, lecturer, television commentator, and defense consultant. In addition to signing copies of his newest book, "Honor Bound," he will be sharing stories of how he researched and wrote the novel in Florida, the Bahamas, and Haiti.
"Honor Bound" is Macom-ber's ninth volume and 1 millionth printed word in the Honor Series of naval intelligence novels.
