CRYSTAL RIVER (AP) - Authorities say a 2-year-old north Florida girl who fell into her family's above-ground pool has died.
The Citrus County Sheriff's Office said Kimberly Nelson died Tuesday morning at a St. Petersburg hospital. She was taken there after being found in the pool Sunday afternoon in Crystal River.
The sheriff's office said family members were inside when Kimberly slipped outside, climbed the ladder and fell into the pool at around 5 p.m. Sunday.
