ORLANDO (AP) - Authorities in Orlando have arrested a man who tried to pull over two off duty highway patrol troopers while impersonating a police officer.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, 25-year-old Mark Stewart Jr. was arrested Monday. His passenger was also arrested for tampering with evidence.

Both are being held in the Orange County Jail.

Authorities say Stewart had red and blue lights in the dash area of his truck when he tried to pull over a car with two off-duty troopers who identified themselves. Stewart then sped off.

Troopers notified the authorities. Stewart was eventually stopped at the Orlando International Airport where he and his passenger were arrested.
