Army Pvt. Trevor R. Shultz

Army Pvt. Trevor R. Shultz has graduated from infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga.

During the 14 weeks of training, the soldier received training in drill and ceremonies, weapons, map reading, tactics, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid and Army history, core values and traditions. Additional training including development of basic combat skills and battlefield operations and tactics and experiencing use of various weapons and weapons defenses available to the infantry crewman. After graduation, Pvt. Shultz enrolled in the U.S. Army Airborne School at Fort Benning and graduated and earned his wings. Pvt. Shultz next will be enrolling in Ranger Assessment and Selection Program also at Fort Benning.

He is the son of Richard and Kirsten Shultz and brother of Tara Shultz of Cape Coral.

The private is a 2010 graduate of Ida Baker High School.
