South Fort Myers is expected to have another highly successful season, as the Wolfpack have been voted No. 1 in the Breeze 2010 Preseason Coaches' Poll.
The Wolfpack, who lost to Lehigh in the Class 3A regional semifinals last year, have drawn enough positive attention that all but one of the coaches participating countywide in the poll placed them at the top of their ballots.
Riverdale is expected to recover from last year's disappointing first-round exit and is picked No. 2. Cape Coral, which had an undefeated regular season and made it to the Class 4A regional semifinals last year, is ranked third in spite of a coaching change.
No. 4 Island Coast received some love after its surprising District 2B-6 championship last year. District 2B-6 runner-up Dunbar, however, is ranked No. 7.
In spite of their playoff appearances last year, Evangelical Christian and Ida Baker share No. 9 while Lehigh is ranked 11th.
