Special to THE BREEZE
Sandoval, the 524-acre Cape Coral community being created by Bonita Bay Group, recently sold its 803rd home, pushing Sandoval's total past the halfway mark since the community opened for sales in January 2005.
"Surpassing 50 percent of sales is a major milestone in Sandoval's success story," says Scott Connell, the master-planned community's general manager. "Currently our preferred builders are working on more than four dozen new home construction jobs in Sandoval. It's wonderful to be a part of such a successful community and watch it grow."
When homebuyers explore their options in Cape Coral, many choose to build in the stylish gated development than anywhere else in the city. Of the 100 building permits issued in Cape Coral for January through May 2010, 64 of those were for Sandoval homes.
More than 92 percent of Phase I's 579 homes have been sold. Phase II, planned with 541 homes, is more than 49 percent sold, which means that overall the community is more than 50 percent sold.
Sandoval offers single-family homes and villas with home and homesite packages priced from the mid-$100,000s. Single-family homesites range from 50 by 130 feet to 70 by 130 feet. Every neighborhood has city water, irrigation and sewer service in place.
With gated entries, winding streets, sidewalks and 20 lakes, Sandoval is being developed in three phases. Phase I is planned with 579 homes, and Phase II, which opened for sales in January 2006, is planned with 541 homes.
At build-out, Sandoval will have 1,579 homes, all by Sandoval's preferred builders.
The Sandoval Welcome Center is located on Veterans Parkway just west of Surfside Boulevard.
