Rowers earn 15 medals at Miami regatta

The Cape Coral Rowing Club competed in the 37th Miami International Regatta last weekend and garnered 15 silver medals.

Silver medals were won by the high school varsity men's 4+ team comprised of Cameron Gunter, Jake Strauss, Adam Melton, Robvert Learsch and coxswain David Murad; the high school mixed 4+ team of Patrizia and Karolyna Wadowloska, Christopher Chorman and Jordan Hess with coxswain David Murad; as well as the adult men's master 4+ team of John Bell, John hart, John Pokorny, Jim Gunter and coxswain Alis Jordan.

The winning boat for these three races was the newly christened Hudson 4+ which the Cape Coral Rowing Club has named Will Stout, in honor of their largest benefactor, the president of Cape Harbour's defeloper Realmark Group.

CCRC offers two sweep rowing programs. The scholastic program is open to all high school students ages 14-18 and the masters/adult program for age 18 and older.
