Baker hosts Breast Cancer Awareness Soccer Game

December 4, 2009
Breeze Staff Report

The Ida Baker High School girls soccer team will host their annual breast cancer awareness game Monday at 6 p.m. against Evangelical Christian. Tickets to the game are $3 with a portion of the proceeds and other donations going to the National Breast Cancer Foundations. Fans are asked to wear as much pink as possible.

This year's event will serve as a special memorial tribute for Francois Prudhomme DeLodder, a soccer coach at ECS, who passed away recently from pancreatic cancer. At the end of the game, the Bulldogs will award the ECS team a pink tribute ball in honor of DeLodder.
