America’s Veterans Foundation seeks volunteers
America's Veterans Foundation is a non-profit organization assisting veterans of all ages and all branches of service. The organization is dedicated to helping military personnel with projects that include affordable housing, education programs, marriage and family counseling, career education, foreclosure assistance, credit education and small business loans.
Located at 3100 Del Prado Blvd. in Cape Coral, the foundation is open six days a week. Monday through Friday 8:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 to 5 p.m. They are staffed by volunteers committed to helping veterans in the office, Thrift Store and Furniture Store areas which provide the source of income. The foundation is seeking to grow to continue helping veterans and expanding services and are seeking volunteers. Call 239-541-8704.
