The Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida, located within HealthPark Medical Center, is part of the Lee Memorial Health System in Lee County, Florida. As the only facility of its kind between Tampa and Miami, The Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida is dedicated to giving children and teenagers the highest level of medical and surgical care available anywhere. Lee Memorial Health System's Foundation, through its role as the primary fund raising entity for The Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida, is proud to be affiliated with Together For Kids - The National Support Network for Children's Hospitals.
The community is invited to attend a truly charming and special child event Thanksgiving weekend, Nov. 27 and 28 at The Bay House Restaurant. 799 Walkerbilt Road in Naples.
The holiday Teddy Bear Teas will take place from 2 p.m.-4:30 p.m. each day and will include tea service, holiday storytelling with Mrs. Claus, music and caroling, a children's fashion show, prize drawings and an opportunity for guests to take photos for their holiday cards.
All net proceeds will benefit Barbara's Friends -The Children's Hospital Cancer Fund. As the only comprehensive children's care facility between Tampa and Miami, The Children's Hospital Hematology and Oncology Units depend greatly on the philanthropic support of the community.
Festive holiday attire. Children can bring their favorite teddy bear or stuffed animal to join them for the fun. Tickets are $40 per person and can be purchased by calling The Lee Memorial Health System Foundation at 239-985-3550.
