A Fort Myers man wanted on capital sexual battery charges of has turned himself in to authorities.

Mario Rodriguez-Hernandez faces two counts of sexual battery on a minor.

Earlier today the Lee County Sheriff's Office asked for the public's help in locating Rodriguez- Hernandez, 37, who was believed to be in the area of either Pine Manor or Tice.

Investigators were notified of an incident allegedly involving Rodriguez-Hernandez on Friday, June 5. Investigators were told Rodriguez-Hernandez exposed himself and inappropriately touched the juvenile on more than one occasion. The location of the offense is being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim.

He is being held in the Lee County Jial, where he was booked shortly after 3 p.m.
