Dore Fine Art gallery to hold opening reception

Dor Fine Art, Cape Coral's newest fine art gallery, will celebrate its grand opening with a wine and cheese reception Friday, March 27, from 5 8 p.m. The exhibit will be open to the public on Saturday, March 28 and run through Saturday, April 11, from 10 a.m. 3 p.m. The gallery is located in downtown Cape Coral, at 1303 S.E. 47th Terrace.

Dor Fine Art will exhibit a mix of works, ranging from reproductions of the "Old Masters and Ultra Contemporary ones". During the grand opening of the gallery, the gallery will exhibit 14 artists; Dorothy Salcedo (USA), Dee LoCascio (USA), Theresa Hazelton (Brazil), Julie Griffin (USA), Ana Abreu (Dominican Republic), Cecilia Valadez (Mexico), Dilya Schauer (Columbia), Quintin Perez (Mexico), Jean Portora (USA), Pat Tunker (USA), Juliette Arajyo (USA), Lois Johnston (USA), Ann Shult (USA) and Barbara Riggs (USA).

Dor Fine Art was founded by Dorothy Salcedo, an accomplished artist who's traveled worldwide creating incredible reproductions of the Old Masters. She is an American of Native American descent who started painting reproductions and commissioned portraits more than 13 years ago.
