NORTH MIAMI, Fla. (AP) — Police have released an arrest report for a South Florida woman who allegedly tortured her 3-year-old son.

According to the report, Fafane Caze repeatedly beat her 3-year-old son, tortured him with a lighter as punishment to stop him from on the floor and applied a concoction of vegetable oil and laundry blue to his wounds instead of seeking medical treatment.

Authorities believe Ghanson Debrosse was dead for hours before he was taken to a hospital early Tuesday.

Fafane Caze was being held Wednesday at a Miami-Dade County jail on $50,000 bond. She's charged with aggravated child abuse and torture. North Miami Police Maj. Neal Cuevas says more charges are expected, pending an autopsy.

Jail records did not show whether Caze had an attorney.
