MIAMI (AP) — A judge has ordered a psychological evaluation of a 40-year-old woman accused of fatally stabbing her mother.

During a bond court appearance in Miami on Monday, Yudenia Rodriguez asked the judge to remove her handcuffs, said her mother didn't die and fell asleep in the courtroom.

Police say 65-year-old Sonia Santiesteban asked Rodriguez to leave her house on Saturday.

The Miami Herald (http://hrld.us/1fdYl32 ) reports Rodriguez pushed her mother to the ground. When her 15-year-old niece tried to call 911, Rodriguez took the phone and hit her niece.

Police say she then grabbed the knife and stabbed her mother who used a wheelchair

She faces second-degree murder, child abuse and tampering with a witness charges and is being held without bail.
