Walter -- Apparently you are NOT familiar with the phrase "OF the People, BY the People and FOR the People". . Please look it up ! ! !

Then, consider the situation in which the Government is allowed to function as it is INTENDED in our system : When you attack the Government, you are attacking We The People.

Now consider the existing situation : When you attack the Government, you are attacking BigMoney, the Elite and the MegaCorporations -- with EXCELLENT cause, I might add ! ! !

The term “Socialism” as they use it is simply a “Boogey Word” of the “Right” intended to obfuscate, to hide their ongoing economic, political and social depredations.

Here is a dollar for you : Run off and play ! ! !

“Enter Donald J. Trump, a two-bit conman, television huckster, a denizen of gaudy casinos and smoke-filled back rooms, who conned himself into the biggest job of all. He is our guide to a new realm you won’t find on any map: a world of his own creation, where words like ‘truth’ and ‘lie’ no longer have meaning, where man’s darkest instincts are given license, and where attributes like human decency and tolerance are relics of a bygone day. Case in point: Mr Donald Trump, a man with one foot in his mouth and the other….in the Twilight Zone.”

In spite of your American delusions of grandeur this nation has had to be repeatedly rescued from failure by socialist acts by the government. That remaking of America you so proudly declare could never have achieved the state of dominance without acts of socialism and governance. There is also the little matter of invading another non-capitalistic nation absconding with one of the world’s most concentrated caches of resources. They did quite well for about 11,000yrs before we crashed their society. Currently, some examples of socialism in the America are social security, public utilities, cooperatives, Internet service, health care centers and public land development, the VA and our military in general. These socialist programs are in addition to the many public programs that exist to provide a social safety net. I would say there are some success stories in there are they not?

Great letter…NOT!

Anticorp- right on the money!. FDR put the US population to work to build planes and weapons to fight WWII, thus creating the military industrial complex that saved our country. FDR, elected for three terms, had many other programs to help the US people; accomplishments that Trump can only dream about. There are many people who work for state and federal governments who would never give up their benefits, and don't want to believe it is socialism.

Trump could learn much from FDR, but he would need to increase his attention span beyond that of a Tweet, and we know that won't happen!

Now, I am going to pretend I am an Evangelical Christian with a telepathic connection to the Lord.

Recently, God spoke to me in a vivid dream. He said, "Jesus loves everyone, except Donald Trump."

It is clear that we have somehow catastrophically and grievously sinned -- Our punishment is Donald Trump.

I urge all to properly attend to this extreme, painful lesson ! ! !

The turnip, a root vegetable, has nutritional value as opposed to Trump who is wholly unpalatable and if accidentally ingested is poisonous.

Heck, he's poisonous without being ingested!

He is the human manifestation of Ricin!

Walter, Are you possibly suggesting that our current Criminal Capitalism "works" ? . I see its primary accomplishment as being the creation of Hyper-Concentrated Wealth.

Hyper-Concentrated Wealth is hardly a desirable end for We The People. . Alas, I am selfish : I care ONLY for We The People ! ! !

I am NOT suggesting an end to Wealth Disparity : THAT is natural and will always exist. . But a way must be found to keep the range rational – VOLUNTARILY ! ! !

Its so very typical that Paul The Typical Turnip skirted, changed subjects, and ran from every question I posed. Seems like he has the "liberal" cowards, little mans disease that affects soo many big mouth "liberal" half-wit, hit and run, hypocrites. Someone needs to educate the walking mental block hate monger allenwoll that "capitalism" esp here in the USA has lifted more & continues to lift more people from poverty than any other system of government in history. Period. To deny that is to reinforce the fact that most "liberal" hypocrite hate mongers like allenwoll are maybe as smart as a turnip. Everyone's sorry you're dirt poor allenwoll. Stop blaming others. Look in the mirror for answers to your poverty and why you need to live a life of hate, ignorance and cowardice.

Capitalism - noun

" An economic and political system in which a country's trade and industry are controlled by private owners for profit, rather than by the state ".

Walter, You say “ Again and again Americans learn timeless principles, take risk, bear burdens, suffer setbacks and attacks . . . “. . Horse Excrement ! ! !

Here is the serious problem with -- indeed the invalidation of -- your political position : What right have YOU, in the pursuit of YOUR interests, to place OTHERS at risk WITHOUT their full KNOWLEDGE and their freely given CONSENT ? ? ?

This factor -- owing to the lack of CONSENT -- constitutes ECONOMIC RAPE ! ! ! Thus it lies at the CRUX of the Capitalist dilemma and explains WHY the current practices are IMMORAL, anti-People and consequently -- one way or another -- DOOMED ! ! ! .
