antico -- Who cares about FACTS and VERIFIABLE EVIDENCE ? ? ? . Certainly NOT the current herd of GoPers ! ! ! . In any event, there is good evidence to show that Conservative and Liberal brains are actually wired up differently.

One of their most puzzling traits, ImO, is that they apparently believe that what they believe is absolutely, automatically and certainly true without any possibility of doubt : NO consideration of the contrary is EVER necessary or even desirable.

“We Believe ONLY the Truth and the Truth is What We Believe”, say they.

This would warrant a Chuckle were it not so dangerous to us all ! ! !

Gut check!

“Climate change could pose ‘existential threat’ to humanity by 2050, advocates say” (My daughter and the twins)

If policymakers fail to act on evidence presented in the current Paris Agreement, in which global human-caused greenhouse emissions will not peak until 2030, this will lock in about 3 (27deg F) degrees Celsius of warming, according to the scenario presented in the report.

There is "broad scientific acceptance" that tipping points for the West Antarctic Ice Sheet and the seat-ice-free Arctic summer will pass well before 1.5 (24deg F) degrees Celsius of warming, according to the report. The Greenland Ice Sheet will melt well before 2 (35deg F) degrees Celsius of warming, and a widespread permafrost loss and large-scale drought in the Amazon will occur by 2.5 (36.5deg F) degrees of warming.”
