What a great job by Szerlag and Murphy to create a non issue issue. Use the smoke screen of closing the High school to obliterate the concern that Cape Coral has doubled it's budget in just a few short years. Government unions singing all the way to the bank. The stupid citizens ate the bait and never protested the generous increases to the budget. Cape Coral is looking more like a ghetto every month that Szerlag is allowed to mismanage the City. Worst it has looked and operated in twenty years.

We can all agree that our Charter Schools are a jewel of our community, however, it's NOT fair for the tax payers to continue to subsidizing the school. We already pay school taxes for our public schools. It's a parents choice on where they send their child. My choice for my children was a private school, for which I paid. I certainly didn't expect my neighbors to pay-up. It's not up to the rest of the city to pay extra in taxes just for some children to attend a charter school. They have an alternative. It's called Public High School. RESPONSIBILITY!!!!!
