The large numbers of structures being constructed WOULD result in massive increases in tax revenue if the new construction were charged appropriate impact fees and taxes. But this is Florida, the “land” of the developer and realtor. They are cleaning up as folks like you subsidize them through taxes that rightly should have been assessed at the time of permitting and construction.

The Republican politician all say it creates jobs and keeps taxes down…BWAAHAHAHA.

Food for thought----what do u think would happen to your property values if no more permits were issued on new property? Do u think another industry of remodeling and reconstruction on previously permitted property is not waiting the wings?

Be sure u vote Republican in the next election. They will fix this with lower taxes and more jobs.
