To the editor: I watched today as a vacant lot with mature loblolly pine trees, sabal palms, and other assorted native vegetation was leveled to build yet another house/duplex....

Clearly, the author doesn't understand what all Republican know by instinct. "Growth is a given"- "It keeps taxes from going up by expanding the base".

Haven't they proven this time and again in all of South Florida as well as right here in the SWF slough?
