I am a Vet & we fear what Trump and the Republicans will do to the VA, just like they want to do to Medicare, Medicaid and SSI.

They propose to raid the funds supporting the VA, SSI et al to pay for that tax cut giveaway to Fat cats like Trump, Romney and the Scott.

They want to hand us over to greedy corporations that care only about profit. It will be profitable for a few while delivering less service for the many. The fly in the ointment of the ACA was private enterprise’s greed/corruption of the act.

Ask a few Vets (groups) what they think of privatizing the VA. Ask seniors what they think of doing it to Medicare or turning over OUR social security funds to Wall Street and Hedge Funds. Privatizing Medicaid is block granting less dollars to bigoted corrupt governors and legislators of Red States who are in the pocket of corporate crony capitalists.

Presently the VA is doing yeoman’s work with way less $$ than ANY private health care.

Leave us alone.

Lestino what are you smoking?if Trump’s proposed cuts to key job training programs are applied directly to program participation, more than 340,000 veterans could lose access to critical employment services that help boost wages. In addition to that, 400,000 veterans on average could lose access to critical nutrition assistance each year if the cut proposed in President Trump’s budget were applied directly to participation in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). If instead the cuts proposed in the House of Representatives Republican budget were applied, more than 554,000 veterans could lose SNAP each year between 2023 and 2027. Previous congressional Republican attempts to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act (ACA) would have cost close to half a million veterans their Medicaid benefits by 2026.

This letter just about says it all. I hope there will no mushy headed media on the “Right” able to blear the facts before the midterm election. Don't expect honest fare.

This threat to the working class safety net (bought and paid for w/the sweat of our brow) is Republican made and marketed by Donald Trump.
