Electrician - Like I previously stated "give someone a long enough rope & they will hang themselves". Time will tell! Until then, There should be NO MORE usage of city time or of our legal department for matters concerning our ex-Mayor. She is "History" & Carioscia needs to drop his frivolous conspiracy theory. Time to move forward.

Law Major since it is now known that you are one of the named co-conspirators perhaps you should refresh your vocabulary skills for the word conspiracy is derived from conspire, which is defined as "seem to be working together to bring about a particular result, typically to someone's detriment". Kind of described your losing attempts of the last year. I await the benefit of your JD education.

Electrician - Yr. QUOTE "Beyond a Reasonable Doubt". YES, pesky little words that assisted in OJ Simpson getting off with killing his wife. Certainly doesn't make him "not guilty". Defense lawyers make their living off of defending their clients. They don't have to believe that their clients are innocent. Their job is only to give the jury "a Reasonable Doubt" as to their guilt. That said, there are a good amount of inconsistencies with Rist + Sawicki's statements. That said, I repeat "There should be NO MORE usage of city time or of our legal department for matters concerning our ex-Mayor." Carioscia needs to drop his frivolous conspiracy theory. Time to move forward.

The real "losers" are Sawicki, Retzer and Rist for creating this mess. Everyone and everything else is collateral damage. No winners. Time to learn from past mistakes and take the steps necessary to avoid any more cost to the taxpayers. Enough!

But, now the serfs can sit back and chuckle at the “playas” for being exposed for what they really are, and everyone can fill in the blank on that adjective. It’s over, your crew’s credibility is irreparably damaged and those associated with them will forever be known as one of them. The only thing missing is the moniker that will ultimately be attached to the group of LaGace, Erbick, Thompson, Cosden, Leon, Fischer, et al. Will it be creative as the “Kitchen Cabinet”, or the “Road Ahead” aka Rags, or merely what your crew represents - Losers?

Real Truth nobody has my tongue. Unlike you, I choose not to live on a keyboard. Here's a factoid for ya, an investigative agency does not pronounce a person guilty or innocent. Its job is to establish to collect evidence in an effort to establish probable cause for an arrest. Investigative agencies often submit its findings to a prosecutor or grand jury for a recommendation when the sufficiency of its findings is questionable . The outcome of this matter suggests the facts were insufficient to clear that pesky hurdle of Beyond a Reasonable Doubt that prosecutors must attest to before filing charges, which is a higher degree of proof than probable cause. It’s still a simple matter. The jilted third rail should have taken advantage of her state employment and reached out to some of her cop contacts and asked them if the case was any good before running off the rail. The rest of the crew enjoyed a short-lived sense of power and superiority over the mere serfs of Cape Coral.

Quote from SPARKY "As I see it the box score is 2 - 0 and your crew is on the losing side". -- Strongly suggest that you DON'T count your chickens before they hatch. Game's NOT over yet! Everyone will be watching for Carioscia's & Nelson next moves and they will be called out. At a recent council meeting CM Szerlag joked with Williams about an impeachment. Hmmmmmm When you give someone a long enough rope, they hang themselves. Time will tell.

Hey Sparky "Don't blow a fuse!" -- FAct is: The outcome could every well have been different had the evidence been obtained legally. Unfortunately, we never get to hear from Retzer. Gag order prevents him from telling his side of the story. Marni got lucky this time around. There was a good amount of inconsistencies with Rist + Sawicki's statements, especially when it came to the property (condo) they owned together. She better hope that her old sugar-daddy will take her back. What I find totally unacceptable is Carioscia's continued quest to use council chambers to settle Marni's personal vendetta. There should be NO MORE USAGE of tax payer dollars and/or City Attorney's for Carioscio's crusade to help Marni fight her battles. It's time for the City Manager and our Mayor Coviello to speak up!

So lets deflect that the responsibility for the bill lies with Cosden, Erbeck, Leon, Jay LaGace, Kirsten Thompson, Sam Fischer and the other FDLE guests who concocted a tale in an attempt to hijack an election. Just be glad you will not be responsible for their legal fees.

As for her the Honorable L. Rosko, Esq., leave the practice of law to those licensed to do so. The Rules of Council can not serve to invalidate a vote of Council.

Minor Law - You and your ilk missed at the polls and you have missed again. You are the ones that need to let it go. The ex-Mayor, whether you like her or not was investigated by 2 separate agencies and both determined there was no actionable items. Heck, a current Council member also tried the FBI and got laughed out of that office. As I see it the box score is 2 - 0 and your crew is on the losing side.

Even now, Instead of council looking to move forward & put our ex-Mayor "out to pasture once & for-all", Carioscia is now looking to spend more tax payer dollars on his "frivolous conspiracy" theory. That should NOT be on the tax payers dime. There should be NO MORE usage of city time or of our legal department for matters concerning our ex-Mayor. CM Stokes was the only one up there to speak out against further usage of tax payer dollars for CM Carioscio's crusade to help his friend, our ex-mayor, retrieve more money. ENOUGHT ALREADY. Let him assist her on his own time and his own dime.

QUOTE "When the rules were adopted on 2/6/17 Carioscia, Williams and Cosden voted in favor of it and Marni Sawicki signed the Resolution as the then-mayor!" -- It appears that was sooo last year, but since a few members of this council has now chosen to fight our ex-Mayors battles, rules appear to be off the table. They simply "DO NOT FIT the narrative." This council appears to have their own narrative, lead by CM Carioscia and his quest to use council chambers to settle Marni's personal vendetta. Good thing her BFF CW Nelson is there to help. View the 2 of them on Marni's social media page. So chummy together & all smiles.
