What does your reference to up North have to do with anything. Change clothes for season her is heavy shorts or swim shorts.

Children going to school in darkness. Apparently you aren’t aware of school choice. In the City Park by me, school busses gather and pick up children at 5:30 AM, dark no matter the time change.

Outdoor activities will have an hour to wait for the sun. Well, they get to sleep in and then have an extra hour in the evening to play.

I was a single dad to two kids. During standard time, after my commute, it was almost dark. During daylight saving time, I got home and we had time to go to the park, play ball and other activities. That was more important to me than TV schedules.
