Democratic elections may be a bad way to choose public representatives, but it's a lot better than the alternative: Elitist snobs gathering in back rooms to choose who will be our masters.

I oppose filling Community Service positions -- especially technical ones -- with "Democratically" elected candidates.

The primary reason for my opposition is that our Electorate is simply NOT at all qualified to make valid judgments in such matters.

Let us start by developing a set of “Requirements for LCEC Leadership”, then assemble a panel of those qualified and select at random from that panel. . Leave "Watts-Politics" behind.
