No money for road improvements? What road was that I drove on this morning when I was heading north for breakfast, oh ya, SKYLINE. DOes that count, or is should it be the city hasn't paved the road I WANT PAVED. What major trees in the median? Other than a scattering of Sable palms there has never been a concerted eeffort at median improvement in the areas you have described. Here's an idea, perhaps after the city purchases the golf course property a portion can be set aside for a tree nursery and garden area for young and old to enjoy. Hmmm, I kind of like that idea but, you don't get any of the trees as trey only go to folks with positive attitudes.

netty...SOME of the trees were put in by residents, but many on the major boulevards and parkways were put in by the City

We now have a City Council that is not only FISCALLY INEPT but are PIE-IN-THE-SKY ENABLERS. They utilize ridiculous CIRCULAR REASONING as their methodology for DECISION MAKING. I can see why the Mayor has been a consultant...ergo a person who talks a talk without ever walking the walk...a.k.a. verbal bully. We now have a Council with a DEER-IN-THE-HEADLIGHTS approach to anything fiscally responsible. It's a sad commentary.

Not everyone has the ability to see the big picture for the City's future. Those trees were not put in by the City but by nearby residents. Let them replace and care for them.
