Another fine example of throwing against the fan Bill. Do you know the legal requirements for your idea before the vote? I doubt it, but that is customary for you. All of the quadrants as you suggested happen to be substantially surrounded by other cities (Cape Coral) and would therefore probably not pass this test and the County must be willing, but demonstrate ability to absorb the service demands, which is doubtful, and vested employees are also a major factor. But keep tossing it Bill to remind us that your thought process is irrelevant.

The City amounts to nothing but costly decorative ruffles on our economic and political skirts.

I suggest that we ALL simply cross it off !

It does not appear our council has improved much since the election. We need some change in this city. Elections should be during the major elections. I would like to see an option on the ballot to eliminate the city charter. Let each of the city's four quadrants decide individually if they want to continue to be a city.The city charter seems to be a money pit with very little benefit.
