My comment is for the letter the CM wrote. Everyone should be notified about anything being done on 47 Terrace, downtown. I just wish it would be done in a better way for everyone. Also, the city should go above and beyond just doing the minimum when it comes to the ADA.

The writer of the letter John is referring to was very combative in her tone.

Notifying the businesses is fine, but don't you think the residents should be informed also? The ADA is a guidline law that the city complies with by doing the minimum. How about using some common sense and look at the number of disabled residents we have and do a bit more than what the law requires. Don't take away the on street parking along 47 Terrace either. Those who are physically disabled but not to the point of being in a wheelchair use the on street parking to go to many of the businesses along there.
