Lolita - I think you are giving her too much credit. She is merely a puppet that is being given advise from our ex Mayor + a currently seated councilmen. NOT to worry because she will end up being the fall-gal. She thinks that she is "high & mighty" right now, but if she can not produce, they will toss her to the side. She might want to "brush-up" on her PROFESSIONALISM. Replay the swearing in ceremonies' and you will clearly notice that 4 of the 5 newbies appeared to take it seriously. Unfortunately, one didn't. That same person is hear yelling out at our new Mayor while he is mentioning that he will fill the vacancy on the League of Mayor's. I believe she yelled that she "wanted that spot". WASN'T the time, nor the place to attempt to act CUTE. Many have referred to her staged event to replace Cosden on The Charter School Board as under-minded. Cosden genuinely cared about the students in that school + she will get the last laugh. KARMA!

Nelson wants to form a group up on Council. Not what is supposed to happen. No clicks of those who think they have the same issues and results to follow Your jobs are to address each issue independently and then vote accordingly. No clicks please. Very dangerous issue.

QUOTE from Sam Fischer on Oct. 16th -- "On another funny note lawmajor, allegedly a certain council member you argue back and forth with thinks that we are the same person (yelled at me in person about it in fact). No clue who you are, but I find that sad and disappointing". -- KEY WORDS ... "certain council member". You really are a piece of work!

TWT - I clearly stated that I would NOT be surprised that a Liberal Democrat from California would be looking to spend our tax dollars. As for your credibility, Let's just say, you are in the RED. Why not ask Sam Fischer what he thinks about you??? LOL

So lawminor is quoted in an earlier post: "I'm willing to sit back + allow our newly elected council to show us what they are made of. They should be judged by their accomplishments." And then this lawminor, goes onto state, "WHY am I NOT surprised. You mean a liberal democrat from California is looking to spend our tax dollars???" So much for waiting, eh lawminor? LOL ZERO CREDIBILITY!!!

QUOTE from ERoberts "Nelson is bubbling over with joy about all the ways she's going to find to spend our money." -- WHY am I NOT surprised. You mean a liberal democrat from California is looking to spend our tax dollars??? Also, regarding your comment "$$$ flowing to her pal Marni's consulting company." - This must be watched & monitored very carefully. I heard that it was Marni that convinced Nelson to run. Now things are beginning to make perfect sense. I STRONGLY believe that the tax payers of Cape Coral will NOT be in favor of using Marni's consulting firm. There are plenty of other reputable consulting firms out there, we DON'T need to use her. Let's NOT forget, Marni is NOT out of the woods until the ethics investigation into her receiving gifts, is finalized.

Good job, CC voters. Nelson is bubbling over with joy about all the ways she's going to find to spend our money. It will start with $$$ flowing to her pal Marni's consulting company.

New council members should be aware that Sunshine laws apply to them as soon as they were elected.

I'm willing to sit back + allow our newly elected council to show us what they are made of. They should be judged by their accomplishments. We can all attest to the fact that individuals will say/promise anything to be elected, however, actions always speak louder than words! Let's see what they are all about. I think it's safe to say that we all would like to see less talk & more action. It won't take long to realize their true intensions. Talk is cheap.

What about the parking of trailer on your property that was going to be addressed?

Bla bla bla. Not much will change and with only one acknowledging we have a tax and spending problem my taxes will probably continue to soar.
