I do not always agree with Richard Leon. I must say he went above and beyond to be of help to me during Hurricane Irma. Richard in most cases will answer email concerns either in writing or by a phone call. Richard still has much to learn about all residents of Cape Coral. I believe he has dropped the issue for 4 AM bar closings and should continue to think long and hard regarding the old golf course property and several other matters whereby his vote has not considered to be in the best interest of all residents. Richard has lived in Cape Coral for most of his life. I just can not vote for the other candidate based on campaign promises that could very well be broken if elected. Also, this candidate is just too new to our City. VOTE FOR RICHARD LEON, DISTRICT 4! He deserves a continued chance.

Here is a case of Beauty and The Beast. I will go for The Beauty every time. Both show differing leadership qualities and experience. Hmmmm, I might just go with my gut and choose The Beast this time.

Steven - You might want to rethink things. FYI- Jennifer Nelson is a Liberal Democrat from California and a personal friend of our current drama queen Mayor Marni. Need I say more??? Do you really think for one minute that she will be interested in reducing your property taxes? Also, Leon is not the only current council member who doesn't own property in Cape Coral. I think you should give him a little credit for calling out our Mayor on several occasions when the rest of council sat idle. He also had the guts to stand up against CM Carioscia, whom likes to buddy his fellow colleagues if they dare disagree with him. Carioscia would like nothing better than to NOT have to deal with LEON after November. That in itself should warrant residents to vote for Leon. I for one, do NOT want a repeat of Marni. Haven't we seen enough drama to last us a long while?

Why does Leon not list his vast CVS experience of operating a cash register. Why does he not have a degree ? He did graduate from HS 12 years ago, why has he not purchased property in this city? He certainly votes to not reduce your property taxes. No Leon has demonstrated his ineptness and incompetence since his first election. He should not be returned to office nor should any incumbent and also the PST,FST and CM should be removed. I will vote for Nelson and hope I do not repeat the mistake I made when I voted for Leon.
