Thank you for all of the "comments" I truly appreciate the feed back from all. Remember, elections bring out many issues and it is the job of the voters to seek out the person they wish to support. If only, the same amount of people who engage here, would only do their homework and then GO TO THE POLLS. This is only the beginning of the process and sharing views, whether you agree or not, are valuable tools. Good luck to all.

Lolita I am well aware of the vendetta the then Mayor and Council and CM had for him. It was shameful! Even to the point of flying helicopters over his property!!!

So spare me with your ridiculous comments!!!

Lolita -- What do you have to say about last years Monday evening council meeting where Mr. Sheppard had just left the podium (after speaking) and our oh-so UNPROFESSIONAL Mayor began yelling innuendos at him, brining his family members names into play????? There was NO QUESTION in anyone's mind that our Mayor has a personal vendetta against him and his family. From what I can see and from what I have heard, Mr. Sheppard has done a lot for this city. He has spend countless hours in which he was not paid, not compensated! He genuinely cares for this City and he has built a large home in this City. YES, he has skin in the game.

You may disagree with me....however, research many years ago. This issue were the many fines incurred by this gentleman and then finally forgiven by some on council. Have a wonderful day, I plan to.

Lolita your comments are off the wall! Dan was terrorized by the City for simply speaking out for the residents and you know it!

As soon as Mr Shepherd repays the City of Cape Coral for the $10,000 forgiveness in fines many years ago, then, perhaps, I would consider him for a seat on the dais.

I see no leadership or ability in the current incumbents. We deserve better than Burch, Leon, Williams. I will not vote for any of them and we need a definite change. No way do I want Donnell back on council as Mayor. Need someone to move us forward not going back to his dismissal performance. I am voting for Sheppard for Mayor.
