They can make public input time 5 hours and it makes no difference. This council has shown that it does not take public input into any decisions it makes. Matlacha annexation, The Circle K and the 7 Islands all had mass input against what council was planning and in each case public input has been totally ignored. When you have input you are ignored, ask a question it goes unanswered and then you are told to sit down.

Residents all over SWF are being pushed aside by Local government in the name of the almighty dollar. Zoning law in SWF means nothing. Someone wants to build anything anywhere and the price is right...POOOF zoning is changed and too bad for you and the enjoyment of your property. SWF residents property rights and zoning law is under attack everywhere and it needs to STOP! Voice your concern to the press and media.

" I am from the Government and I am here to help you" ....run for your life.

Great news...added time for input. However....we now have just two meetings a month, impacted by several holidays, etc. which reduces the time citizens have to make their cases with their issue. Of course, citizen participation and attendance has been less than expected. Hopefully some of the changes will encourage those who watch at home to join the others in chambers.
