If we, the citizens, continue to "stay at home and watch on TV" or read what happened the next day in the papers, then any Council will make the assumption that we are content. If, however, you take the time,to come to be heard at each meeting, then the Council will have toaddress the concerns. Yes, I know, nobody cares what the citizens have to say, however, if you stay home and just speak privately about your issues, well, what will happen is exactly what is happening now. Assumption is citizens are content and have no issues.

Speaking of Council, there is an article in today News Press mailbag titled "Poor treatment at Cape Meeting". Quote "I have never witnessed such cruel treatment to a handicapped person in a wheel chair, on oxygen by another human being as the Cape Coral mayor did at Monday's meeting." You really expect them to define utility goals when they can't even master "civility".

EXCELLENT editorial, hits the nail right on its head. And I agree with the author's conclusions 110%.

This council decided to buy LCEC long ago, they were just to impetuous to realize they were way out matched. Good luck folks.

You are expecting this council to listen to the tax payers about anything. 8 idiots wandering in the night, no leadership. We have to get rid of 4 of them next year.
