They did not have any concern for your electric bill when they crammed a 7% increase down our throat without a vote of the ratepayers. If anyone believes anything from this council they are an idiot.

It seems that everytime we have a legal issue we hire attorneys. Why do we have a city legal department? Do we hire family members or do we hire competent attorneys? Seems none of them can handle anything. Maybe taking a case would interfere with their vacations or naps.

I am really surprised that the Breeze appears to be taking the position that we should just sign the existing agreement with new dates and no questions asked. Isn't making sure that Cape Coral is receiving a fair share of cost and rates the responsibility of our leaders? Do I want a MEU? No. Do I want to be confident that we have a fair franchise agreement? Yes. But we can't do that without information and data that hasn't been forthcoming voluntarily. Why is the Breeze not asking "why"?
