Netransplant - Yr quote "Sullivan who paid for mailers distorting the truth" - What about the mailings from The Democratic Party attempting to dis-credit Barrier. That was okay with you, right???? Why would the Democratic Party even get involed in a race that was not supposed to be "Party Affiliated"? Let's guess. Perhaps one of staunch Democrats seated on the council ask them for help in taking down the competition!!! Shame on them!!! Just goes to show just how low the Democrats & Liberals will stoop in order to win. Now they can continue one with their TAX & SPEND. Since they on currently on a spending spree, I guess their council chambers will begin renovations in the New Year. FYI - The 70 inch "Flat screens" should be on sale on Black Friday.

Netransplant - "The Union ....work hard to elect fair minded candidates who support everyone in the City" - Tell the truth... Not Fair minded, like minded is more like it. It's the Liberal Tax & Spend mentality. Spend now & worry about it later. YES, it will all catch up to us one day in the not to distant future. What is the next assessment going to be labeled. "City payroll assessment". Get ready to open-up your check books & wallets. This is going to cost every citizen in the Cape. Yes, even the ones that didn't get out to vote. Christmas came early for council members.

LM is correct in that the Union, being made up mostly of lower middleclass working families did work hard to elect fair minded candidates who support everyone in the City, not just retired people. The taxpaying Union members used their time and money to defeat the puppets being supported by past elected failures, some like Sullivan who paid for mailers distorting the truth of other candidates. We the working class refuse to sit by and let a small group of angry retirees who are looking for another free meal on the backs of our children and their future. LM is free to move to another community that truly supports comatown mentality!

The Union members and their families all faithfully got out and voted while the retired union members used scare tactics on the forums. Less than a 15% voter turnout. Pathetic. The union members, the retired members & their families probably made up 10 to 12% of all the votes. They will continue to move them from city employees right to the dais. Good luck Cape Coral. Get ready for the tax increases.

No amount of spamming, or smear tactics worked. The people who cared to vote, spoke ... they like to keep the Cape moving forward. Here's to a continued bright and beautiful (RAG FREE) Cape Coral.

I strongly believe that our City Employees are quite capable of deciding for themselves who they feel is best suited for the job of "council member". They DO NOT need a phone call from a "union rep" in order to make "the correct decision". Strong arm tactics should NOT be permitted in any election!!!

So that explains TWT post on every forum. He is trying to divert the phone call issue to city employees. This entire non-sense regarding the losing of senior centers is nothing more than a diversion. How low will these individuals go??????? If you don't want LIES and you are looking for individuals that are not here to play games, vote LaGrasta, Cammarota & Barrier. TWT, you are shameless!!!

TWT -- STOP spreading rumors that simply are NOT true!!! Perhaps the spending they are planning on cutting has to do with all the traveling expenses of our mayor. She very well might be getting her wings clipped!!!!!

Well, the rumor is now spreading like wild fire. Senior centers may be closed if the RAG candidates get in. TAX cutting is item number one and our poor Seniors may be the targets! Vote Cosden & Cariosca, BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!

Yes, I noticed that my response yesterday for Lolita to an out of line comment she made, was removed. Some individuals frown upon rebuttal comments. In Lolita's case, she can dish it out, but she can not take it.

Lynn

Way off base. I took no credit. Just wrote what I knew. Guess it is harder than I thought for those who throw the stones to accept something good is happening.

Lolita - "Take a nap it might help you revive." - I appear to be 100% more revived, even without sleep, than you are when you are fully awake. Do you even read what you write?

Lolita - Are you serious????? You have been on these forums for months, throwing your support behind Doviak, Cosden & Carioscia. You have also been on here for months bad-mouthing Cammarota, LaGrasta & Barrier. Gee, I wonder who you voted for??????? "because it is private". LOL

Congratulations to Sam! He is a person who wanted to contribute to the future of his community. He initially sought to do so by running for office but was not successful. Instead of giving up on his goal to contribute, he sought appointment to a volunteer board. Good for him!

LM I sat here reading your drivel about how I vote, who I am etc. You are so far out in left field,be careful when walking in the mud you throw. How do you come up with all of this nonsense. I voted, you don't know how I am not saying, because it is private (that's why they seal the envelopes). etc. etc. Take a nap it might help you revive.

Lolita - Don't act like you always supported Stout! The only reason you are voting for Stout is because Doviak didn't make it past the primaries. Your comments about Stout prior to the primaries were all negative. Now, all of the sudden, she has become a "Good mixture of talents"!
