grumpy19: Yes, for every action, there is a reaction. so, let's all sit in the corner and just wait for things to change and do not, for whatever reason, attempt to TRY anything different or else, grumpy19 will call you names and words hurt. Bwahahaha!

1Sandy, you really know how to show your juvenility with the name calling. We know it is a trial run. I only see in my opinion, and the police dept presentation, that we will have more problems downtown with this. why was it passed after the presentation by the police dept.? Downtown already has the highest incidence of DUI, DUI accidents and assaults of all kinds. This deal will only sell the Cape as a destination to be able to drink for a longer time. I didn't agree with it before, nor do I agree with it now. The bar owners are only paying for an off duty cop on their premises. Who pays for the additional cops on the streets when someone gets pulled over for DUI? Same with calls for accidents and assaults downtown.

Ah, the morons that have access to computers, to spew their ugliness. It is a trial run, nothing more, nothing less. But for those who would like to stand still, or worse, go backwards, this is certainly a stab in the heart. Well, I was against it, but now, we will have to see how it goes. I for one am willing to give it the old college try.

Council can bring forward the electronic billboard to say, "welcome all drunks and alcoholics to Cape Coral where you can drink until 4AM and then drive back over the bridge."
