The national average of people who die from "Legal" prescription pain killers is 46 people per day. In states with Medical Marijuana the number is 24% lower. Big pharma does not research marijuana in this country because the feds still have it as a schedule 1 drug. Many users do not smoke it, they use vaporizers, oils or mix it in food. As for drug tests and driving, nothing changes here. Employers can still require tests and driving under the influence of any drug is illegal (even if you have a prescription). Of the 20+ states that have done this as far back as 1995, the world did not end, teen use did not go up, and DUI and prescription drug deaths went down. I will be voting YES!

It is funny with all the capability our local media has why have they not interviewed local physicians?

It is "medical" and why no push from big Parma to research and develop an alternative to produce a better, quality controlled method?

Are we to assume smoke will produce what we have seen tobacco smoke produce?

Why have a package of other laws not been passed with this amendment to Control and punish those who misuse or misprescribe?
