August 14, 2014

It has been my pleasure to serve this community since 2000. As your School Board Member, I have observed the many changes which have occurred in public education and in our School District....

Also if it were NOT a school choice county a minimum of 10 school busses Would not have to be purchased, maintained and staffed. Each school in Lee County has when late reported 9 busses assigned to it. Along with over $10 million or more just for fuel! Our school board dollars at work for the biggest Job Program waste.

Did I understand the county schools do not have money to build a high school for $50 million? For starters they are not paying that figure upfront. Second point wouldn't they know what school levels were nearly maxed out a few years ago? Second point we are covering X superintendent Browder's $100 million dollar land bargain(?) how many years ago? Inside the overstaffed directorships with all their directors and assistant directors is the money for the high school (we own the land) and the necessary inside the school staff. Look to the ADMINISTRATION COSTS to find the shortfall!

Article in the News-depressed today about Dozier's buddy Teuber with all his financial shenanigans and legal trouble. Dozier has been very vocal in her support for him as a school board candidate. I wonder why? Just the tip of the Corruption Iceberg!

I wasn't impressed with you 23 years ago when this district was setting up the autism program and I'm even less impressed now. You have been milking this district for many years now even while applying elsewhere for work of the same nature (secretly of course)... you say things you don't mean and have no intention of following up on. My opinion 23 years ago was the same it is today - you will say whatever you think the parents / teachers / other board members want to hear - unless the conversation or meeting is being recorded then you say nothing at all! Good bye & don't let the door hit ya in the ___ ..

If we know that secondhand smoke can have an effect on passive children in vehicles or homes. Does it follow that they will be effected from secondhand medical marijuana smoke? If the answer is yes why bother worrying about who serves on the school board or the classroom. Just a thought before we are off to the races. Maybe this is the answer to the stressed students and benchmark testing like the Iowa, California, battery tests, FCAT, or the POP QUIZ! Maybe the candidates for school board need a medical certification that they do not need "Medical Marijuana", or any other substance

to control their stress level.

Never mind "skin in the game" aka board members should have "kids in our schools", let's just get the corruption out. Dozier has been profiting off her position for more years than it takes the average kid to graduate. Career politicians are part of Lee County's problems, Florida's & the nation's as a whole. These people forget who they serve & ultimately only serve themselves!

When you won'the let them run, do they also become exempt from school taxes?

There should be one REQUIREMENT attached to be eligible to run for the School Board. Every candidate should have children attending the schools, period. The days of having out of touch, over the hill, and people with no skin in the game are over.....or should be.

Why does the Lee County School District look for every loophole to avoid following the "Voter Approved" class size amendment??

What a bunch of tripe. Did you have one of your unpleasant conversations when Graham was forced to hire your campaign finance manager as Director of the Finance Department for the school district??? You harp about following policies but break Ethics Laws time and again. Will you keep your promise to retire after this term, Dozier, or will your reign of corruption continue??? Quick, start drafting your next self promoting PR piece because no one is buying this one, despite its length & repetition.
