Lynn why are you so intent on not proving with you claim. I know because you can't If you don't prove your claims then they mean nothing. But that's what you do best make claims then never prove them.

Once the Queen of Effluvia stops. I am going to be at the yacht club in a hour if you have the guts to show up and show the lines you claim to be there are there.

SO YOU DON'T KNOW WHEN THE SIGN WAS REMOVED DO YOU? Then why blame the boathouse IF YOU DON'T KNOW. There is no blue markings where you claim them to be.

Jack you really must have a reading comprehension problem.

I stated that "that the sign for Handicap Parking had been removed subsequent to 8/25/12" The picture captures a date of 8/25/12 showing a Handicap Sign!

I NEVER stated that 8/25/12 was the date that the Handicap Sign was removed!

That spot was removed almost TWO YEARS ago going by the date you posted. That was when kcs was still there. How come you are blaming the boathouse for something that happened WAY BBEFORE the opened.

I should of stated in my prior post that the sign for Handicap Parking had been removed subsequent to 8/25/12 which allowed the trailer to park there. If you look at the pavement you will see remnants of the blue lines.Unless of course if they have been painted over.

Council should seriously consider adding more Handicap Parking places right near the Boathouse. What would a free standing restaurant of the size and capacity of the Boathouse be required to have in the way of Handicap Parking? The same should apply to the Boathouse.

There are handicap people that have hand controls/specialized foot controls on their vehicles. They need facilities to park their own vehicle in close proximity to the restaurant.

I doubt whether any valet person would be able to drive a car with hand controls/ specialized foot controls.

Jack, I have a picture of the Handicap Parking space as it was on 8/25/12.There were always 2 Handicap Parking spaces in front of KC's right at the entry to the pier. It clearly shows a Handicap Parking space where that large trailer was parked with the sign for Handicap Parking.

I sent the picture to the Mayor and Council.

Unfortunately I cannot post it on this Forum for you to see.

Where's the proof that they removed a spot. I was there today and didn't see where any spots where removed.

Maybe just maybe they will replace the Handicap Parking spot they removed to make room for that trailer.

jack215: To be honest, I don't go to bars and most restaurants I go to don't have a public bar. If I want to drink any alcoholic drinks, I do so at my home. Yes, KC's was in violation. I actually didn't know they sold alcohol either. That's because I didn't go there. I usually brought my own beverage when I went fishing on the pier. I hold no animosity against anyone as long as the discussion is civil. We can agree to disagree on this, just like we can agree on other things.

Grumpy thanks for putting that up. The way I read it and my take is that KCs was in violation of it also. All it says is alcoholic beverages. What about the other places in the city this applys to. I guess we have to agree to disagree on this.

Lynn I guess you know better than a lawyer. If you can tell us what a dance hall has to do with what is at the yacht club. Beside Grumpy was talking about a bar and I DO HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO COMMENT.
