Every week that goes by the residents see just how mismanaged this city council has operated the city. The millage rate dropped 1/4 of a point and a tax on electric kilowatts used to replace the 1/4 point and now a half baked fee to replace 38% of the fire dept budget with a FEE/TAX to be billed and have it stick may be. If they have to return it the cost is estimated at $145,000. Golf course no money! Call in Joe Jerkowitz because he is the only savior who knows anyone with money to buy this property. We have in house to evidently pieces of crap in the Community Development department that can't find themselves with both hand in their back pockets. That department needs a haircut or more likely a close shave!

If you go to her Mayor's night out and disagree with her. You most likely will get a venomous attack and look as she did at Mr. Morris. She is a liberal just like the rest of the city council. Tax and spend is their mantra in my view. What did the city manager do when he was hired? He looked for where money could be spent and where the money had to come from. Thus the PST and the FSA. She is nothing but a female Obama.

Looks like Feb 27th has come and gone and NO media has given her meeting a drop of ink or a word on its outcome.

Very telling it wasn't worth the time or the inconvenience.

This I know she has no skin in the game of owning a home in Cape Coral. Who thinks it is because she can't afford an $80,000 home?

Congratulations Cape Coral you chose an empty headed LOSER for a LEADER!

Ask her if she knows the average vuluntary turnover for a police dept. in a city the size of Cape Coral, 157,000 plus residents.

I will give you the answer. It is 17.4%. we had 32 sworn officers leave supposedly for more money?

We have more than 250 on the force which would be about 43%. Son of a gun only 32 sworn officers left the police force.

Also, another tidbit of information for "miss Giggles" is police officers usually don't leave a medium sized force like Cape Coral for larger venues. The majority leave for smaller departments.

The information was procured from a police officers dissertation for a Masters Degree in law enforcement.

It is tough to take when we have out and out liars filling the residents at the city council meetings with myths.

Also if the lawyer who was mailed (wire fraud) a threatening letter and the FBI had been informed. a. The chief of police would not know because he and the department might be under investigation.
