Trey Radel has now announced he will not resign and intends on resuming his duties as our representative in Congress. What a miraculous recovery he made the past 3 weeks. He feels he has suffered enough and has recovered enough from his addiction problem to return to DC. Let’s hope the congressional investigators do their job and expose this man for what he really is and what he has or hasn’t done. There is no disputing the fact; Trey Radel is a failure. He failed his constituents, his country, his family and himself. It takes more than a few weeks in rehab to solve his problems. The constituents of the 19th district deserve better and that can only happen if he steps down and the governor names a replacement to finish his term. Trey Radel needs to do the right thing and resign.
