Have they looked into turning the transportation over to LeeTran? It seems like a duplication of efforts?

Other communities have had success outsourcing their school transportation to private companies.

The student don't all ride a bus so the amount should be lower than $400 for a school year of 180 days.

The best situation would be the neighborhood school. Attending a school clo0se to where one lives.

Keep them equal in repairs, equipment, personnel and they will be EQUAL. Why pay a premium because a school system can't get out of its own way?

The problems still exists, it wastes tax dollars and you have made no more inroads today than last year or 10 years before that.

START THINKING YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE THE EDUCATORS!

The district spends millions of dollars on transportation sending kids all over the place for school choice. Until this unnecessary expense is cut they have no business raising taxes.
