3 years for a bank robbery w/out a gun.. ok. fair enough sentence. right? what the "writer" doesnt mention though is the previous record(s). Prison stint of a year, for guess what...Robbery w/ no gun. Prison stint prior to that for habitual dwsl. & a Carjacking arrest in 1998. Do articles not include this stuff to not plant a seed in readers that u can pretty much only get 2-3 years in prison for robbing a bank even w/ a previous robbery charge that resulted in prison? Or does the past record/charges have no bearing on the sentencing results being reported? i have no friggen idea i'm not a writer (as you can tell by the bad punctuation and broken-sentences in my comment). maybe one of them will chime in on this comment. 3 years (having to serve like 75%) is really a little over 2 yrs. Considerin 7 out of 10 bank robbers get get away w/ it..tying in w/ small amount of time in prison if caught..and about 8-12K take per robbery. Seems doable. Sh*t!! What time's Bank Of Amer
