@ el Rosko! my big wish is that Sully and Leest will both be indicted for PERJURY for lying in a Lee County Court, repeating the lie on TV media, and then contradicting themselves at a council meeting! DANG!

CCC you make a real good point about the Perjury indictment thing. As we know convicted felons are not allowed to own, or have firearms. This could knock out a couple of birds with one stone.

do not vote for these people

In very plain words are simply a way for the local city council to by pass the homestead exemption. If the property owners do not realize this and act to have the levying and assessment authority removed from the city council then in a very short time the homestead exemption in Florida will be worthless, because every-time they want to get money from the homeowners they will have an other levy or assessment. That is the great experiment that councilman Mc Grail referred to. Mark my word your homestead exemption will be totally worthless. If you people do not wake up and limit they amount of money that the city council can take out of your pocket (which is what the homestead exemption is all about) the will continue to treat you like the mindless cash bovines they think you are.

The first step is to remove the socialist six from the city council and replace them with individuals that stand for small efficient government that is fiscally responsible and has the best interest of ALL the citizens of Cape Coral in mind first, foremost and always. Not the crowd we have now, they have their own agenda and only work to further that. Forty years of mismanagement is enough for this city, it is time that the insanity stops. Make your choice are you going to take a stand for your rights or are you going to continue to be a Cash Cow for this city.

Additionally I want to remind the voters of a statement made in October of 2010 about water fee’s by one Council member in “Chris Chulakes-Leetz said: “charging these fees would not be a “waste” for lot owners; instead, it would be a “transfer of equity. I think property owners would understand the city is moving forward for the “big picture.”

Any politician that wants to “transfer Equity” is a socialist

Their is no was on the new taxes and this increase of your real estate tax! Their is not the $150 for the new taxes is is closer to $150 per new tax.

Utility Tax can go to 10% by the council's vote led by McGrail who instituted it.

The Fire Assessment by January if it clears the court will will increase 3.75% every year.

NOW THAT THE REAL ESTATE TAX IS FINALIZED ON BILLS SENT OUT.

WHY DOES THE CITY MANAGER NOT PLUG THE REVENUES IN TO SEE THE SO CLAIMED DEFICIT?

WITHOUT THE 5% BONUSES TO THE CITY EMPLOYEES.

You won;t see this done because the sham would be revealed!

Marni Sawicki likes to tax people but she did not pay her income taxes from 2009 in Aurora Ohio and they had to get a judgement against her in August of 2012. She still did not pay it until October 17,2013. Oh I know the excuse was that she never got the mail. Gee that was my accountants fault, Gee I was going thru a divorce. They sent the legal papers and notice of the judgement to the same address as is on all her Election papers as Certified Mail Return Receipt Requested! The only problem was she never accepted the mail! Yes it is true as I have all the Court papers as proof! What a joke!

VOTE FOR SULLIVAN, LEETZ, HEADD AND WILLIAMS ON NOV 5th FOR A BALANCED COUNCIL!

In a previous LTE Disgusted1 states "Where have you been the last four years?" Well I have been watching the Road Ahead Gang drag this city into the sewer with their lies, witch hunts and overall anti common sense agenda. Can't wait till Tuesday when we will lance the last two boils that have been the cause of the distress so the city may heal!!!! Sorry for pulling a Lynn on the multiple posts.

Just finished reading the transcripts re: the Bond Validation hearing also known as fry those who voted for it.

Mayor Sullivan on Page 35 second paragraph, referencing the Fire Assessment: "What I didn't hear but I thought I'd throw in is that the City responds to tourists who are not non-property owners". This from a person who has served almost four years, who claims to have vast experience, touts his accomplishments, and wants to isolate the very fabric that keeps all of Florida going, tourists. These are the very people who come down here and enjoy all of the facilities all around us and, hopefully spend time in Cape Coral.

No kidding John, was it the traffic jam on DelPrado, the long lines in the restaurant waiting to be seated, long times in our stores, etc. Yes, the tourists are here and we take care of them too if they are in trouble. Please.

Vote: Sawicki, Leon, Burch and McGrail.

Enough already.

As for CC Leetz, and his answer to Dr. Donnell that he did not mention his name at the Validation. That's true, read the transcript, Leetz refers to District 7 when identifying one of the people he believes broke the Sunshine Law. Think he plays on words. Sure does, "I know how to provoke and get away with it". Not this time. Leetz, now prove it...which you cannot.

Do not vote for Leetz andSullivan,

Do vote: Sawicki, Leon, Burch, McGrail.
